A fresh, fruity breeze from far away lands brings us the essential lemongrass oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus). In the fragrance lamp, lemongrass oil is ideal for refreshment on a strenuous, top-heavy working day. It makes us fit in the head, but it doesn't turn us on. It promotes creativity and logical thinking, dispels listlessness and motivates. The lemon-like scent also helps with stress and restlessness, has a calming and mentally refreshing effect. An important feature is its ability to achieve different effects: Depending on the dosage, essential lemongrass oil can be either soothing (1-3 drops) or mentally stimulating (4-6 drops). The essential oil is not very popular with insects and can be used to ward off pests. The intensive disinfectant properties of Lemongrass are interesting for skincare, a careful dosage is recommended to avoid skin irritations.

Recipe tip 3: Disinfection spray (for the hands)5 drops of Lemongrass and 5 drops of Lavandin Super in 5 ml high-proof alcohol e.g. vodka dissolve. Add this mixture to 30 ml plant water spray bottle (e.g. PRIMAVERA SOS Spray). As a natural hand disinfection spray, apply 2-3 sprays to the hands and rub well. If necessary, apply cream to the hands afterward.

Usage:
For room scenting, mixed and diluted for cosmetic and therapeutic application on the skin e.g. in facial and body oils, for massage oils, for therapeutic embrocation and for compresses, as bath additive, for masks, for self-mixed cosmetic products.
